Run Dedication for Jim "Pnut" Fields

I have the true honor of dedicating this evening's 5.21 mile training run to the beautiful memory of Jim 'Pnut' Fields. He passed after a lengthy battle with cancer and is deeply missed by his family and friends. I was preparing for a rainy run this evening, but as I set out the rain stopped...and the sun peeped through the clouds. Against the dark grey sky a rainbow appeared in the east. In scripture...a rainbow is a symbol of promise and reassurance, and in my 21 years of running I have never seen one so big...so bright, while I ran. My prayers go out to everyone who knew Jim. Thank you Audrey for allowing me to run for your father...considering it was the same disease that took my own father last year. Please share and God bless. www.facebook.com/runhopelive #rundedication
