I have the amazing honor of dedicating today's 5.71 mile training run to the cherished memory of Donald Roy Coleman. He passed away in January of 2016 by the way of black lung complications. He is loved and missed beyond measure, and our worlds will never be the same. He is a true hero as he bravely served our great country in the US Army for four years, then he spent the rest of his working career in the coal mines. I send my deepest thoughts and prayers out to Kelly, Tonya, Donnie, Ronnie, Eddie, Opal, and the rest of his family and friends. Thank you Ronnie for affording me the true honor of running for your father today...I know his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Please share your most beloved memory of Donald's life in the comments section below. God bless.
