Run Dedication for Eliot Max Dunne

I have the true honor of dedicating today's 6.03 mile training run in Virginia Beach to the beautiful memory of Eliot Max Dunne. He passed by the way of suicide in April of 2011...he is loved, cherished, and missed dearly. Eliot served in the US Navy, and was awarded the Purple Heart...not once, but twice! He was enlisted as a Naval Medic, and a Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist. He was a loving and caring person, and his death...even 5 years later...leaves a huge void in all of the lives that he touched. I send my deepest and dearest thoughts and prayers out to all of his family and friends today as you celebrate the man he was. Thank you Beth for affording me this amazing honor today. Please share and God bless. www.facebook.com/runhopelive #rundedication

  1. Thank you very much for this dedication. Still today, other Veterans (me) are just now finding Dunne's story, and I for one had to rethink my habit of predetermined notions when I hear anything Corpsman/Marines. Fair winds, and following seas. ~hm3clayton
