Run Dedication for SFC Jarrett Souza

I have the distinguished honor of dedicating today's 5.38 mile training run to the beautiful life of SFC Jarrett Souza. He passed by suicide in July of 2015, but his memory continues to bless all that had the privilege of knowing him. He served our great country with a level of distinction, honor, and commitment rarely seen these days. SFC Souza spent over 25 years in the United States Marine Corps, and the Virginia Army National Guard...seeing combat in Kuwait and Iraq (Bronze Star recipient). He was the very definition of integrity, and a true leader like no other. I want to send my condolences, thoughts, and prayers out to his family and friends today. Lunchbox's memory will continue to inspire us all to be better soldiers and citizens...we promise to carry forward the dynamic life lessons he taught us. RIP SFC Jarrett Souza! I wish to thank Betsy and Maggie for affording me this tremendous opportunity today! Please share and God bless. www.facebook.com/runhopelive #rundedication
